International Consolidated Airlines Group (LON:IAG) had a strong day on Wednesday as its shares climbed by 7.60% to 201p and topped the FTSE 100. The next biggest risers were DS Smith (LON:SMDS) and Rolls-Royce (LON:RR.) with gains of 2.93% and 2.86% respectively.
After a few strong days of gains, Persimmon (LON:PSN) shares fell back by 2.48% to 2,752p.
Antofagasta (LON:ANTO) will post interim results today.
