Softcat has seen its share price increase by 2.33% after reporting that operating profits for the year ended 31st July were ahead of expectations.
AIM-listed transport data firm Tracsis saw its shares surge upwards 11.74% after providing a trading update for the year ended 31st July.
Shares in AIM-listed gold miner Hummingbird Resources tumbled 9.56% to 31.20p in light of ongoing political issues in Mali.
The FTSE 100’s biggest riser on Tuesday was again Persimmon (LON:PSN), whose shares rose by 8% to close at 2,822p after posting half-year results.
FTSE 100 housebuilder Persimmon saw its share price rise by 5.24% after it posted its results for the half year ended 30th June.
Shares in FTSE 250 supermarket chain Marks & Spencer Group dropped by 3.39% after it provided an update on current trading.
The price of shares in specialist retailer Angling Direct rose by 14.29% after the firm reported that revenues rose by 21% over the six months ended 31st July.
Persimmon (LON:PSN) was the biggest riser on the FTSE 100 on Monday with its shares climbing by 3.12% to 2,613p.
Food production firm Cranswick saw its share price rise by 5.78% after reporting that revenues for the 13 weeks ended 27th June increased by 24.8%.
