FTSE 100

Whitbread (WTB) – announces the appointment of Richard Baker as Chairman with effect from 1st September.

Compass Group (CPG) – announces the payment of the C Share Dividend and the redemption of B Shares issued relating to its £1 billion return of cash.

FTSE 250

bwin.party digital (BPTY) – Trading in the second quarter was mixed, with revenue a little softer than expected but Clean EBITDA margins slightly better than expected.

Dairy Crest (DCG) – At the end of the first quarter the financial position remains in line with expectations and the outlook for the full year remains unchanged.

Telecom Plus (TEP) – Profits for the first half are expected to be significantly ahead of the corresponding figures for last year, with profits for the full year expected to increase by almost 50% to £63 million.

Small caps

InternetQ (INTQ) – revenues p by 50% in the first half, with adjusted EBITDA up by 90% at €9.5 million.

Blinkx (BLNX) – announces a partnership with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), to offer blinkx users professional golf highlights, player interviews and tips.

1Spatial (SPA) – has been awarded a significant long-term contract by the Ministry Of Defence on behalf of No.1 Aeronautical Information Documents Unit.

Sinclair Pharma (SPH) – Adjusted EBITDA for the full year is expected to be in line with market expectations despite currency headwinds.
