Jim Slater taught me never to regret. He couldn’t sing so I never got him to offer Edith Piaf’s “Je ne regrette rien.” So I’ll just have to remain contented by Edith.

Biggest influences?

A happy and sound marriage of fifty-two years duration. I count myself very lucky.
