FTSE 100 Morning Update

International Consolidated Airlines Group (LON:IAG) led the FTSE 100 on Wednesday as it climbed by 10.49% to 193.80p. Other big gainers included Evraz (LON:EVR), Coca-Cola HBC (LON:CCH), and Glencore (LON:GLEN).

Diageo (LON:DGE) was the day’s big loser once again, with its shares dropping by a further 3.60%.

Evraz will be publishing interim results today so may be one to watch, while the Bank of England’s MPC will provide an update on interest rates.
