FTSE 100 Morning Update

Lloyds (LON:LLOY) topped the table on Monday, registering a 6.03% climb to 27.87p as it bounced back from last week’s results. Other notable risers include NatWest Group (LON:NWG) and WPP (LON:WPP) which are also recovering from a bad end of July.

The biggest drop was from HSBC (LON:HSBA) whose share price declined by 2.91% to 332.25p after reporting that its profits were heavily constricted during the first half of 2020.

This morning we will see finals from Diageo (LON:DGE) and interims from a range of FTSE 250 firms.
