Frontier Developments climbs after successful launch

Shares in AIM-listed software developer Frontier Developments (LON:FDEV) climbed by 5.13% to 1,435p (as at 12:00 BST) today after the company reported that the launch of its latest game had been strong. Management said that they now believed that revenues for the year would be towards the upper end of previous guidance of £58-88 million.

Chief Executive David Braben said the company was: “pleased with the positive reaction we have seen to the launch of Jurassic World Evolution and its initial sales performance… We already have future franchises in different phases of internal development and we will continue to explore other models to accelerate our scale-up“.
