Tom Hayes has had his sentence reduced from 14 to 11 years. According to the DTel, the three Appeal judges stressed that it is important to impose a long sentence to send a message to other financial workers. This strengthens my belief that Tom has been stitched up. The fight continues.

About thirty years ago I noticed my staff in the general office were very busy. It then transpired that all were engaged in drawing up lists of who would and who would not be sent Christmas cards. The bill for the cards and postage came to a further £300 or so. I have never sent a Christmas card subsequently.
