Premier Oil +3.54%
Premier Oil is currently leading the FTSE 250 after the company revealed that Chief Executive Simon Lockett is to step down from his role. Commenting on his decision, Mr Lockett has said: “I believe now is an appropriate time for a change in leadership as the business moves into its next phase. I am also looking forward to pursuing new business opportunities, but in the meantime will continue to devote all my energies to ensuring the continued success of Premier”.
Victrex +2.75%
Victrex PLC has today reported a 6% increase in group sales and has revealed they expect performance to be in line with expectations. The polymer specialist firm has also said they have had a positive start to January with volumes increased on last year.
TalkTalk Telecom Group +1.56%
Revenue for TalkTalk Telecom Group was reported to have increased to £436m, up 5.1% throughout Q3. The telecommunications group continued reporting positive figures, adding Q3 on-net revenue increased by 9.6% and that they also expect its full year revenue to potentially exceed 3%.
Transense Technologies +11.54%
Shares in Transense Technologies are up over 11% this morning after the company revealed that the loss they sustained during H1 has now nearly been cut after a 130% increase in revenue to £2.215m. The company now expects full year performance to meet market expectations.
Goldbridges Global Resources +6.76%
Gold mining group, Goldbridges Global Resources, has today reported a 53% increase in gold production to 8836 ounces at its Sekisovskoye mine. The 100% owned mine produced 30,670 ounces of gold for the year, up 37% on 2012 production levels.
Fallers:
ARM Holdings -4.57%
ARM Holdings is leading the FTSE 100 fallers this morning after reporting the company has swung to a £6.2m loss for the three months to 31 Dec. The company has however posted some positive figures, revealing a 15% rise in revenue to £189.1m after demand in the smartphone market increased.
Ocado Group -3.68%
Ocado Group has today posted a full year pretax loss of £12.5m for the year ended 1 Dec, 2013, much wider than last year’s loss of £0.6m. The company took this opportunity to reveal its company co-founder Jason Gissing is set to retire in May 2014.
Mobile Streams -17.21%
Shares are down over 17% in AIM-listed Mobile Streams PLC this morning after the company announced its Chief Financial Officer, Gaston Cerf, has resigned with immediate effect.
Vatukoula Resources -7.46%
Vatukoula Gold Mines has reported a widened net pretax loss of £16.9m for the year ended 31 August, 2013. The loss is significantly wider than last years reported loss of £8.1m.
