StockViews is a platform that connects asset managers to a global network of independent analysts. Analysts are vetted, and then ranked according to quality of research and performance of stock ratings. Fund managers receive a feed of the best research, curated according to their investment universe and style. 80% of the subscription fee from asset managers is passed onto the analyst according to their performance, creating a strong incentive for the network to uncover alpha-generating ideas. The platform makes heavy use of technology to support the analyst’s work, including the development of AI tools. StockViews was founded by Thomas Beevers, an ex-fund manager who was frustrated with the broken model of sell-side research, and Sandeep Bathina, an expert in artificial intelligence. Thomas Balk, ex-head of Fidelity International, is the Chairman.
