FTSE 100

Rio Tinto (RIO) – Rio Tinto and Sinosteel Corporation announce their intention to advance discussions for a second extension to the Channar Mining iron ore joint venture in Western Australia’s Pilbara region. 

Reckitt Benckiser (RB.) – will demerge the RB Pharmaceuticals business, with a separate UK listing, to be called Indivior.

Hammerson (HMSO) – Hammerson and its partners in VIA Outlets, APG, Meyer Bergman and Value Retail, have acquired three further centres for their newly created venture, established to take advantage of further growth in the European outlet sector. 

FTSE 250

Bodycote (BOY) – group revenue for the four months to October was 2.9% higher at constant exchange rates. Expectations for the year to 31st December 2014 are unchanged.

TalkTalk Telecom (TALK) – has entered into a new multi-year commercial MVNO agreement with Telefónica UK Limited under which Telefónica UK will provide TalkTalk with access to its 2G, 3G and 4G services in the UK.

Keller (KLR) – overall trading in the four months to the end of October has been in line with expectations, with both revenue and operating profit ahead of the comparable period in 2013. 

Small caps

Pan African Resources (PAF) – has now completed the disposal of its interest in Manica and Auroch Minerals, via a deed of mutual settlement with Auroch.

Ariana Resources (AAU) – announce the confirmation of a mineralised sub-volcanic porphyry at the Kepez prospect in the Kiziltepe Sector of the Red Rabbit Project which it holds in a joint venture with Proccea Construction Co.

Symphony Environmental (SYM)– raises £1.575 million to repay debt and for working capital.

Camkids (CAMK) – confirms that trading in line with market expectations for 2014 but adopts a conservative stance towards its prospects for 2015 after the spring/summer order book is approximately 13% behind the same period last year.

Majestic Wine (MJW) – pre-tax profits declined by £1.4 million to £8.5 millin in the 26 weeks to 29th September.
