FTSE 100

easyJet (EZJ) – pre-tax profits up by 22% at £581 million in the year to September.

Smiths Group (SMIN) – Expectations for the year remain in line with the outlook given at the full year results. 

British Land (BLND) – Hakkasan Group’s Yauatcha and The Botanist from ETM Group have taken space in the new Broadgate Circle development.

FTSE 250

Cineworld (CINE) – remains confident of delivering results in line with market expectations for the full year.

Savills (SVS) – underlying results for the year will at least meet previous expectations.

Balfour Beatty (BBY) – At the end of the third quarter, the order book stood at £11.7 billion, flat on the half-year.

Entertainment One (ETO) – Profit before tax up 100% to £2.4 million in the six months to September.

Small caps

Chamberlin (CMH) – has secured a major new contract worth €26 million over an eight year term with a leading European automotive industry components and parts supplier.

Nostra Terra Oil & Gas (NTOG) – the fourteenth well in the Chisholm Trail Prospect, Gant 1-22H (CT14) has produced an average 286 Boepd from the Hunton Formation, over the most recent 10-day period of production.

MTI Wireless Edge (MWE) – has secured a new contract worth over US$0.5m for a commercial BWA antenna solution.  

Tangent Communications (TNG) – Underlying operating profit down to £0.96 million from £1.51 million in the six months to August.

Jubilee Platinum (JLP) – has entered into a Sale of Shares Agreement with Emerald Panther Investments 48 Proprietary Limited to acquire Emerald’s entire holding in the company’s subsidiary Pollux.
