The Character Group down as holidays disappoint

AIM-listed toy company Character Group (LON:CCT) watched its share price drop by 15.53% to 321p (as of 15:45 GMT) after it said that Christmas trading had been difficult. Management said that core sales were down against the same period last year.

As a consequence, the company has cut its sales guidance for the full year.
