Meggitt wins $21 million contract with the Defense Logistics Agency

Defence firm Meggitt (LON:MGGT) announced it had secured a $21 million contract with the Defense Logistics Agency in Richmond, Virginia, to supply fuel cell equipment for the UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter until 2022.
“Meggitt is proud of the trust that DLA Richmond has once again placed in Meggitt to provide fuel cell equipment for the Black Hawk helicopter, underlining the exceptional performance record of our fuel cell technology, which is now present on virtually all US military helicopters,” said president of Meggitt Polymers & Composites Stewart Watson.
Shares in Meggitt rose 2.6p to 559.6p (as at 10:40 BST).
