Shares in miner Kodal Minerals (LON:KOD) rose by 17.90% to 0.23p (as of 14:00 BST).
Management said that they were still awaiting the analysis report detailing the mineral resource estimate for their lithium project in Southern Mali, which will most likely be published in Early September. Preliminary tests had shown defined mineralisation along a 400m strike length and the company is also taking additional samples via diamond drilling this month.
The group is currently still in the exploration and development phase and reported no revenues and a loss of £857,000 in its results for the last financial year.
