The share price of FTSE 250 iron miner Ferrexpo (LON:FXPO) has risen by 3.13% to 283.10p (as of 13:50 BST) after the company published production figures for the first quarter. The firm’s output figures showed a 1.2% drop in overall production from the company’s own ore for the year to date, but there was a modest increase in the production of higher grade pellets.
The company’s reports for the 2018 financial year are scheduled to be published at the tail end of this month, having been delayed while the independent review committee investigated discrepancies related to certain charitable donations.
