Dividend update boosts British Land

FTSE 250 REIT British Land (LON:BLND) was lifted 3.08% to 378.60p (as of 16:10 BST) after announcing the resumption of dividends. Management said that dividends would be paid semi-annually rather than quarterly going forward.
The company also provided an operational update and said that 69% of September rents had been collected so far. All of the firm’s retail assets and 86% of individual stores were open and the portfolio of out of town retail parks was outperforming under the current conditions.
