Shares in FTSE 250 Carnival (LON:CCL) have sunk by 0.76% to 969.80p (as of 16:15 BST) after a subsidiary formally cancelled a number of cruises for 2021. Guests booked on these journeys will receive either full refunds or credit for future trips.
Princess Cruises CEO Jan Swartz commented: “We share in the disappointment of this cancellation for guests of our world cruises because it’s a pinnacle cruise vacation experience, booked by some of our most loyal guests”.
