Aviva shares fall despite Indonesian exit

After announcing its exit from the Indonesian market, shares in FTSE 100 insurer Aviva (LON:AV.) declined by 3.81% to 338.20p (as of 13:00 GMT). Aviva’s entire stake in PT Astra Aviva Life will be sold to it’s joint venture partner for an undisclosed consideration.

The deal is expected to complete in Q4 2020 and is subject to regulatory approval.
