The Evil Diaries: Dialight, Madagascar Oil and HSS Hire

My wife and I lived in central Africa for four years and thus encountered the statistic that not hundreds but many thousands of lives of young African children are lost each year due to snake bites. This does not surprise since the fact is that the puff adder and the Gaboon viper, to name but two, are slow to get out of the way and their venom is deadly.

Last night, our younger daughter arrived from India to renew her visa and she told us that a few weeks ago our six year old grandson had called his mates over to look at what transpired, according to the adult neighbours, to be a cobra who then politely slid off. But one does ask….

Incidentally, she had to travel outside India to Britain to renew her entry visa. This takes a few days, a few quid and eight thousand miles plus of travel. This does not seem very green to me – she has been at it annually for ten years. One would have thought…

Dialight (DIA) is starting to retreat and is now 485p. It is a long way yet down to go before fair value is achieved, it would seem.

Madagascar Oil (MOIL) held its AGM yesterday. No news as to the way forward but 4p offer looks very cheap to me. After all, they might just muddle through without further financing.

Finally, HSS Hire (HSS) still shows no sign of batting out of its imminent financial difficulties. Now 52p bid – and that is not strong.
