The Evil Diaries: Beximco Pharma, William Hill & Pantheon
Dame Lowell Goddard‘s resignation is in a sense mildly comic. The first two birds, Butler-Sloss and Woolf, were compelled to leave since the leaders of the allegedly abused insisted B-S and W were not impartial since they had had past associations of a very limited nature with those who could potentially be accused or interviewed were they alive – which of course they are not.
Anyway, leaving aside the expense of these changes, one is bound to wonder whether this £100m enquiry can ever get anywhere. It looks to be merely a holding job orchestrated by the Home Office which knows perfectly well that the enquiry is a fool’s errand.

Beximco Pharma (BXP) announces that it is now into the US market for the first time. This is the first time that a manufactured generic pharmaceutical from Bangladesh has been so accepted. Of course, this must mean that many other products follow. The shares are up a bit this morning at 33p but are surely confirmed as a buy under, say, 40p.

William Hill (WMH) announces ordinary results this morning. But this merely means that another bidder will step up to the plate. Now 310p.

Finally, Pantheon (PANR) may offer an encouraging RNS next week: 200p+?
