Rentokil Initial captures increased revenues

FTSE 100 business Rentokil Initial (LON:RTO) has reported that its revenues for the first quarter of 2019 rose by 10.3% driven by the pest control division. Organic growth was 4% with the remainder coming from acquisitions.
Chief executive Andy Ransom said: “We have had a good start to 2019 and I’m pleased with our performance in the first three months of this year. I am confident of another year of successful growth for the Company, in line with market expectations“.
The price of Rentokil Initial shares rose by 1.79% to 374.70p (as of 12:15 BST).
