New deal lifts Gama Aviation

Shares in Gama Aviation (LON:GMAA) rose by 1.73% to 223.80p after the company landed a £50 million extension to its deal providing air ambulance services in Scotland.

The company has worked with the Scottish Ambulance Service for nearly 30 years, so much of the value of the deal is already locked in, but CEO Marwan Khalek said that the visibility offered by the deal would allow the company to upgrade its service offerings in Aberdeen and Glasgow.
