Evil Knievil: A close shave

Capita (LON:CPI): their results statement was as complicated an affair that I can recall. But CPI is solvent and debt is coming down. I am long at 49p and have no intention of selling.
The FCA may be investigating Amigo (LON:AMGO) on a wider basis than previously assumed. This does not matter as long as there is a company left over after the further delays of implementing the Scheme of Arrangement. I think there will be. A buy at under 20p.
The Supreme Court decision on Uber strikes me as barmy. In the end the distinction between employed and self-employed must cause economic distortion. It would be more sensible if the engaged individual were to sign up to a self-employed status if he were to prefer it.
Finally, Cheltenham was kind to me in 2021 – as regular readers know all too well it can be pretty vicious. I made £72,000 and got there by winning £90,000 on the Gold Cup on the last day. A close shave.

Spot of Gold Cup after-timing there Simon?
Your loyal followers might have liked your Cheltenham advice, particularly after your recent Australian success.
🙂
Can’t get a close shave,as the hairdressers are still shut :-]
Would have much valued your Gold Cup selection (i.e. before the race), but very glad that you had a good Cheltenham. It always springs surprises, and can certainly be vicious! I didn’t do too well this year. I almost backed Minella Indo in the Gold Cup – but didn’t. Henry de Bromhead had a very good festival.
