Auxico Resources Canada Inc.
Auxico Resources Canada Inc. has acquired 25 former silver-gold mines/ prospects located in the state of Sinaloa, Mexico. The Zamora mine was sampled under a program with the Government of Mexico and contains historical reserves of 35,000 tonnes at a grade of 1.5 kg of silver per tonne and 12 g of gold per tonne, to a depth of only 50 metres. The company conducted an exploration program in 2014 to verify the silver/gold content of 5 of the historical mines. This exploration program, conducted by Auxico’s geologist, Joel Scodnick, revealed that hanging walls, each side of the quartz veins that had been mined historically, contain stockwork brecciated material composed of a multitude of small veins that were sampled to contain up to 14 kg of silver per tonne and 20 g of gold per tonne. This stockwork mineralization has been identified over several kilometres of strike length. In 2017, the company conducted a trenching and channel sampling campaign at the Aguamas section of the Zamora Property, which revealed a new gold discovery.
The company recently staked claims in Colombia, approximately 75 km southwest of the capital city of Bogota, covering 65,000 hectares. This area is known for high-grade gold and cobalt, as well as base metals.
Auxico Resources Canada Inc. is presently listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange (ticker: AUAG).
