Meggitt (MGGT) – underlying trading since June has been broadly in line with expectations, with organic (excluding the effects of M&A and foreign exchange) revenue growth in the third quarter of 5%.
Marks & Spencer (MKS) – underlying pre-tax profits up by 2.3% at £268 million in the 26 weeks to 27th September, dividend increased by 0.2p to 6.4p per share.
Old Mutual (OML) – funds under management up 5% to £307.6 billion from core operations in the three months to September.
FTSE 250
FirstGroup (FGO) – adjusted pre-tax profits up by 70% at £33.3 million in the six months to September.
esure (ESUR) – Total in-force policies increased by 2.5% year-on-year and 1.1% year-to-date to 1.954 million as at 30th September.
JD Wetherspoons (JDW) – For the 13 weeks to 26th October 2014, like-for-like sales increased by 6.3%, and total sales increased by 11.3%.
Stock Spirits (STCK) – the latter half of quarter 3 has been a very tough trading period, particularly in Poland. Unless trading conditions improve, there is a risk that full year EBITDA could be between €5m and €10m below expectations.
Small caps
EMED Mining (EMED) – even though the Junta de Andalucía has granted a three month regulatory extension to approve the Mining Permit for the Rio Tinto Copper Project, the company confirms that it still expects to receive the final permitting before the end of the year.
Orosur Mining (OMI) – announces the execution of a no cost extension of its farm-in contract at its Anillo Project in Chile with Corporación Nacional del Cobre de Chile , the world’s biggest copper producer, until January 2020 with a further option to extend for an additional two years to 2022.
Amara Mining (AMA) – announces the final results from its 2014 drilling programme at its Yaoure Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire.
Symphony Environmental (SYM) – announces the registration of SANAFORTM PO-5 by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and also the further expansion of Symphony’s d2p product range.
Rose Petroleum (ROSE) – company to focus on its assets in Utah after withdrawing from the Konstanz and Biberach exploration licences in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
Fastjet (FJET) – fastjet operations in Tanzania carried a total of 59,830 passengers and achieved a load factor of 74% in October.
