PLUS 500 (LON:PLUS), the online provider of contracts for difference, saw its shares jump by 19% to 680.29p on the back of its interim results.
For the six months ended 30th June 2019, net profits decreased by 56%, to $51.6 million, on revenues of $148 million, down by 42% on the comparable period a year earlier.
The company announced an interim dividend of $0.2734, representing 60% of net profit, and commenced a share buyback programme to purchase up to $50 million of its shares. It added that it’s on track to meet current expectation for 2019.
