Asian markets managed to gain back some of their losses from yesterday’s session which saw worries resurface regarding the slowdown in China. The gains followed on from America which saw small gains throughout their major indexes, however with little news flow throughout the day, the gains were only minimal adding around 20 points to the Dow Jones.
The Reserve Bank of Australia gave away no clues regarding when interest rates are set to change when the RBA minutes were released to investors throughout the night.
Heading into the European session, the FTSE 100 is set to open relatively flat from yesterdays close as investors await the UK Consumer Price Index figure due to be released at 9.30am.
