The price of shares in FTSE 250 model manufacturer Games Workshop (LON:GAW) increased by 1.22% to 9,995p (as of 12:00 GMT) after the company provided a trading update for the six months ended 29th November. Sales for the half year were up by around 25% despite the difficult retail environment. Pre-tax profits for the period will be roughly 50% ahead of the comparative period.
Management said that further updates would be made in due course and that the company would pay a 60p dividend in January.
