Plus500 completes main market move

Shares in contracts-for-difference specialist Plus500 (LON:PLUS) were up by 1.55% at 1,641p (at 11:10 BST) after the company formally announced that it had moved from AIM to the main London market. The shares began trading on the main market at 08:00 BST, with no new shares being issued as part of the admission.

CEO Asaf Elimelech said that: “this development is expected to enhance the liquidity of the Company’s shares and provide a greater range of potential investors for the Company both in the UK and overseas, reflecting the global nature of our business“. Our resident expert Evil Knievil has expressed a more negative view of the move.
