FTSE 250 brewer and landlord Marston’s (LON:MARS) saw its share price jump 40.54% to 31.20p (as of 14:40 GMT), although it remains below half its price just a week ago. Management said that the impact of COVID-19 so far had been marginal with sales broadly flat over the last two weeks.
The company said it had begun implementing cost control measures and noted yesterday’s announcement by the UK Government of measures to support the hospitality industry.
