Shares in FTSE 250 technology supplier Computacenter (LON:CCC) jumped 12.15% to 1,947p (as of 15:00 BST) after the company announced that adjusted pre-tax profits for the six months ended 30th June were substantially ahead of the comparative period. The company said that there had been a surge in demand for products to support home working as well as increased sales from the group’s services division.
While performance in the second half is still difficult to predict, management now believes that financial performance will improve further.
