Astonishingly, Mitie (MTO) have yesterday bought back another 150,000 shares – or at least £1m+ in recent days. They must be loopy. But however loopy they may be they are not as loopy as Lloyds Bank who a few weeks ago lent Mitie c. £15m.

I sold out of Asia Resource Minerals (ARMS) at 39.25p this morning since I do not want to finance the position for another ten weeks or so pending the emergence of the 41p. This is known as incontinence in action.

However, Quindell (QPP) seems too low to me at 124p. I appreciate that it will take perhaps another three months before the cash distribution of 113p. But it will happen. A buy for the patient.
