An Iranian visited me yesterday evening. He tells me that the assassination of Soleimani was misconceived since Soleimani was the one person loved by the poor of Iran. Indeed, the poor have to put up with the mullahs whom are loathed for their corruption and stupidity. Trump is a blithering idiot.

Accrol (LON:ACRL) seems to be getting back on track – perhaps even papering over cracks. ACRL is still losing money.

There are only 300 or so shareholders in Manx Financial (LON:MFX). So, paying a dividend is hardly a clerical impost. The problem is that capital paid out restricts lending in terms of the regulators’ cap. However, there is no doubt that help is on its way. This means MFX is a buy at under 10p.

    Happy New Year, Cawkers!

Pace your Persian Soothsayer, maybe you could wangle an invite to Davos,
with a little help from your smart friends.
There you may well discover just how much the “poor” and their opinions matter to the corporate jet set.
