Evil Diaries: VOG gets hit amidships

I was going to kick off with a proposal that Victoria Oil and Gas (VOG) might be worth a sniff. But this morning it has been announced that they have been ruled against by the arbitration court as to $12m plus interest in favour of RSM. What this immediately leads to I am less certain. But it seems that I have sploshed £75,000. This is a nuisance.

Less depressing is the perking up at Coro (CORO). Last week they announced that their Italian gas interests had come alive and are set to make 5m Euros a year. They do not say for how long but that seems a good support for the share price, current 0.50p.

Sunflower oil will shortly not be available in the UK since 80% of the world’s supply comes from Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine can’t supply and Russia will not. Consumers are turning to palm oil. It’s an ill wind that blows nobody any good. For us holders of REA (RE.), it looks very good.

I think it is scandalous that the Ministry of Justice cannot accelerate the resolution of matters over Tom Hayes. There is now a gathering support group such that it is not impossible before there is an adverse political consequence for the Conservatives. Do not forget that the subpostmaster affair is still not resolved and that some of those who were and remain entitled have died in the interim. Four have committed suicide.
